Taught Science and Outdoor Education for three years. Entered the Entertainment industry in 1984, and has extensive worldwide touring experience with large music productions.

Formed SWL in 1995 with Oz Marsh and Olly Sanders.

Formed Star Rigging which became Star Events Group Ltd.

Left Star Events Group to devote more time to training and assessing riggers.

Oz Marsh

• National Rigging Certificate Assessor and Rigging Supervisor Level 3

Formal cadetship in Merchant Navy. ONC Nautical Science & Qualified 2nd Mate (Foreign Going).

Entered the entertainment industry in 1977. Started rigging in 1980 and has rigged numerous worldwide music tours and industrial trade shows.

Olly Sanders

• National Rigging Certificate Assessor and Rigging Supervisor Level 3

An Arena rigger for 10 years with tours in Europe and worldwide, Olly switched careers in the nineties and got involved in the training and assessing in the outdoor industry working at Plas-y-Brenin The National Mountain Centre as a senior instructor for 10 years.

He founded SWL with Mark and Oz in 1995 to fill the training gap that was missing within the industry.
